On the basis of the available forecasts, the Department of Civil Protection, in agreement with the regions involved, issued a further warning of adverse weather conditions which integrates and extends the previous one and which foresees strong aburras winds with a prevalent southern component on Sicily, Calabria, Basilicata from today afternoon. and Puglia, with storm surges along the exposed coasts.


    On the basis of the expected and ongoing phenomena, a red alert was assessed for tomorrow in Basilicata, an orange alert on part of Calabria, in Molise, Puglia, a sector of Basilicata and in Campania.

Yellow alert in remaining parts of Calabria and Campania, on Lazio, Marche, parts of Molise and Apulia, Abruzzo, Sicily, Umbria, Sardinia and remaining sectors of Basilicata.


    From the early hours of tomorrow, Monday 26 September, scattered to widespread precipitation is expected, even with a strong reverse or thunderstorm character, on Sicily, especially on the western and southern sectors, Basilicata and Calabria.

Finally, from the early morning of tomorrow, rainfalls are expected to persist, including heavy downpours or thunderstorms in Campania and Puglia.
