(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 25 - Aiden Aslin, one of the five-year-olds released by Russia as part of the prisoner exchange in recent days, has released his first interview to the media and told of being stabbed in the back by an officer while in solitary confinement.
"Do you want a quick death or a beautiful death," he was asked.
The Guardian reports it.
Aslin, 28, said he was "treated worse than a dog" after being captured in the southeastern city of Mariupol.
Together with other prisoners - he said - they were forced to stand and sing the Russian non-national in order not to be beaten.
