Today, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the conditions for applying for the differentiation of private Syrian universities for the specializations “medicine, dentistry, pharmacy” for the academic year 2022-2023.
The ministry’s announcement, which SANA obtained a copy of, included the minimum limits for applying for this trade-off and the registration centers designated for it, where the degrees of a student wishing to specialize in human medicine must be 2160 degrees, in dentistry 2112 degrees, and in pharmacy, 2064 degrees for various private Syrian universities.
The ministry’s announcement about the conditions for applying for this differentiation stated that the student who obtains admission to one of the Syrian private universities according to this announcement is considered final and he is not entitled to object to or change admission to another specialization in the Syrian private universities for the rest of the specializations except after studying at least one semester.
The announcement clarified that in the event that the announced minimum grades for admission in any specialization are equal, the student’s courses in the secondary certificate “Science - Chemistry - Foreign Language” are considered, and those who achieved the highest degree are accepted.
According to the announcement, submission of applications starts from the morning of Sunday, the 2nd of the next month, until the end of official working hours on Thursday, the 13th, where students are received daily from 9 am to 2:30 pm, except for Friday.
