Many people have lost their beloved four-legged friends.
Apparently an animal hater is doing the rounds there.
Were poison baits drugged?
For many pet owners, it is incomprehensible how some people can cause animals so much suffering.
But they do exist: dog or animal haters who place poisoned baits wherever dogs are regularly found outside.
You often drape them with meat or the like, which magically attracts the four-legged friends and loves to eat them.
With fatal consequences, as was recently shown in Frankfurt.

Dog owner Martina Peukert was also hit hard: her black Labradoodle-Bolonka mix swallowed one of the bait while walking the dog and died just four hours later.
For them, it is clear to the picture: "Someone planned it meticulously!" At the same time, other dogs with symptoms of poisoning are said to have been admitted to the clinic.
But the employees there are initially overwhelmed and do not know what exactly the animals are ill with.

A pet owner is said to have eventually collected some of the suspicious meat baits and taken them to a local veterinarian.
After a quick test, he found out that heroin and amphetamine had been added to them.
He informs the clinic, which was eventually able to administer an antidote to the poisoned dogs.
But for Blacky any help came too late.
He is said to have finally lost his death throes.

The police have also confirmed to Bild that there was a poison attack on the dogs.
They sent the bait to a laboratory and are now waiting for the results of the tests.
For the pet owners, however, the shock is still deep.
They met in Bonifatiuspark in Frankfurt, where the incident happened, to say goodbye to their loved ones.
In addition, those affected hope that witnesses will contact the police and finally put a stop to the animal haters.
