At the upcoming Super Bowl LVII in the NFL, Rihanna is the star of the halftime show.
This was announced by the National Football League on Sunday.
The nine-time Grammy winner posted a photo of her hand holding a football on social media on Sunday.
The NFL shared the same image on Twitter.
The 34-year-old from Barbados is one of the most successful artists in the world.
The Super Bowl is scheduled for February 12, 2023 in Glendale, Arizona.
The league announced earlier this week that Apple Music had replaced Pepsi as the sponsor of the halftime show.
According to the NFL, more than 120 million viewers watched the halftime show at Super Bowl LVI, where Dr.
Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar performed.
The performance won an Emmy Award.
Past Super Bowl performers include Michael Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Prince, Paul McCartney, and Madonna.
