A pot that sticks to the wall: the Israeli designers you need to know Israel today

2022-09-26T13:52:39.348Z

In honor of Rosh Hashanah, we spoke with eight young designers, who bring a unique interpretation to the items they make themselves • from lighting fixtures, through paper cutouts in wood to prints on walls

The worlds of design and fashion intertwine.

In many ways these are two tangential worlds, where the designer takes the user on a journey of inspiration, material, texture and color.

A certain product can be beautiful or not, and it all depends on the eye of the beholder.

What is more important, is to look for and explore the story behind a designed shirt or a colorful vase.

Often, the story will provide an important layer that will add to the observation of a particular product.

There are ecological designers and those who explore the tension between advanced technology and the use of traditional production techniques, there are those who emphasize contrasting connections between materials and textures and there are those who reveal naive motifs.

Most of the time, if you ask the designer about his sources of inspiration and his color and material choices, you will be swept away into worlds that will enhance your experience, and the choice of a particular item.

The new year is a great time to shine a spotlight on eight local creators who specialize in developing, designing and manufacturing products for the home environment.

There is nothing more exciting and satisfying than getting to know a young creator you have connected with, starting to follow him and accompanying him during his development.
