The United States broke the record for points in the history of the Women's Basketball World Cup in Sydney, Australia, scoring 145 points against South Korea, two more than the previous record of 32 years ago.
The Americans, already qualified for the quarter-finals, won 145-69 in the fourth match of Group A, thus erasing Brazil's 1990 record (143-50 against Malaysia).
The match statistics are also record-breaking with 56 rebounds by the US against 20 by the Koreans.
