(ANSA) - PERUGIA, SEPTEMBER 26 - On the night of the political elections, the Brothers of Italy also conquers Umbria and is now the most voted party in the region that sees the affirmation of the center-right united in both branches of Parliament.

For the party of Giorgia Meloni, the consensus fluctuates between almost 30.5 percent in the Senate and 31 in the House, while in 2018 it stood at 4.88 and 4.92.

    On the other hand, the Lega collapses, obtaining about 8 per cent at Senato (it was at 20.28) and is close to this share in the Chamber (20.16).

   And Forza Italia does the same, at around 7 per cent between the Senate and the Chamber, while four years ago it was around 11.

    The Democratic Party also lost consensus, reaching about 21.5 in the Senate (from 25.48 in the previous elections) and just over 20 per cent in the Chamber (from 24.81).

    The third pole of Calenda and Renzi does not break through, around 7-8 per cent, and the M5s is just over 12 per cent, in a dive compared to the 27 it had.

    More generally, the gap between the two coalitions is clear, leading, as in the previous round, all the uninominal constituencies to the center-right which exceeds 46 per cent and the center-left oscillating between 26 and 27 per cent.

The re-election of the Umbrian coordinator of Fratellid'Italia Franco Zaffini is now certain in the Senate;

in the Chamber, in the one college centered on the province of Terni, Raffaele Nevi, outgoing deputy of Forza Italia, is confirmed, with the coalition obtaining around 47 percent of the votes;

and again in the Chamber, the victory of the secretary of the League Virginio Caparvi, who with the center-right coalition was elected with 44.7 percent (definitive figure) in the two constituency that hinges on the province of Perugia.

    A picture that is outlined in Umbria where the Region is governed by the center-right with Northern League traction.

The balance of power in the coalition, however, now appears decidedly different considering that in September 2019, at the time of the historic success in the red stronghold, the carroccio touched 37 percent of consensus, with the Brothers of Italy at 10.4.
