(ANSA) - MILAN, SEPTEMBER 27 - It is official, after thirty-five years Umberto Bossi leaves Parliament.

The founder of the Lega was the first in the proportional list of the Carroccio for the Chamber in Varese, where the party did not get any seats.

    For party leader Matteo Salvini, the rightful recognition would be the nomination as senator for life: "I will certainly take this proposal forward personally with the support not only of the League but of many Italians".
