(ANSA) - ISTANBUL, 27 SEPTEMBER - Nearly three thousand people were arrested in Tehran in over 10 days of protests over the case of Mahsa Amini, the 22-year-old who died while in the custody of the moral police who had detained her because she did not wear a veil properly.
This was announced by IranWire citing sources among the families of the arrested people according to which the prisoners are located in various prisons in the Iranian capital but also in other buildings.
According to the Irna news agency, 12 people were arrested today by the Revolutionary Guards in Gilan province on charges of holding secret meetings to organize violent protests.
