Nintendo Switch: The successor console could be much more powerful

It is still unclear when a new Nintendo Switch will appear.

However, speculation is growing that the Switch Pro will be much better graphically.

Since the Nintendo Switch was launched five years ago, the hardware of the console has changed very little, which unfortunately also has a negative impact on the gaming experience.

Because compared to the competition, it jerks again and again with more complex games on the Nintendo Switch.

So it's about time that Nintendo followed suit and optimized the hardware of the Nintendo Switch.

According to rumors from the gaming scene, the Nintendo Switch Pro, as the successor console could be called, will be much more powerful than the previous model.

This is mainly due to a strong chip from the graphics card manufacturer Nvidia.

At EA Games, too, there were only rumors at first, but now it's officially confirmed: There will be a game for "Iron Man".

What changes could the Nintendo Switch Pro see?

With Orin from Nvidia, Nintendo could achieve comparable or even better graphics quality than the Playstation 4 or Xbox One.

In addition, there is a significantly longer battery life.

An advantage that gamers still have on the Playstation or Xbox - you can play FIFA 23 in advance for only 99 cents.

When will the new Nintendo Switch be out?

While it's likely that Nintendo will release a follow-up console to the Nintendo Switch, the timing for that is still completely open.

So far, the Nintendo Switch is still selling well and just under a year ago, a new model with a high-contrast OLED display was launched.

So if there will be a new Nintendo Switch by the end of 2022 or in 2023, it will probably be with Nvidia's Orin chip.

Because the next chip Thor should appear in 2025 at the earliest.
