Rumors confirmed: Electronic Arts announces game for "Iron Man".

Rumors have been circulating for a while about a new game about the Marvel hero "Iron Man".

EA has now confirmed that a game is in development.

Marvel Games is collaborating with Motive Studio, a Montreal subsidiary of Electronic Arts, to develop an all-new single player of Iron Man, according to a statement.

The same studio is currently working on a Dead Space remake and has set up Star Wars: Squadrons.

A new Iron Man game with a brand new story is in the early stages of development.

"Iron Man" game in the making: what should it be about?

Since the Iron Man game is in the early stages of development, there aren't many details yet.

All that is known is that it should be a completely new story that "channels the complexity, charisma and creative genius of Tony Stark".

"We're thrilled to be working with the talented team at Motive Studio to bring their original vision of one of Marvel's most important, powerful and beloved characters to life," said Bill Rosemann, vice president and creative director at Marvel Games.

Who is behind the new Iron Man game?

The development team will be led by Olivier Proulx, who has experience with titles such as Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.

"It is an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to create a video game based on one of the most iconic superheroes in entertainment today," said Proulx.

“We have an amazing opportunity to create a new and unique story that we can call our own.

Marvel encourages us to create something new.

We have a lot of freedom, which is very appealing for the team.” Further updates to the “Iron Man” single player will follow as the development of the game progresses.
