Quite a symbol.

Installed on the quays of the Seine in Boulogne-Billancourt, the TF1 tower, lit until midnight, now schedules the lights to go out at 10 p.m.

There are no more small energy savings… On the air too, the audiovisual subsidiary of the Bouygues group will take action on environmental issues.

On Tuesday, the information department presented its Climate 2022 roadmap, in order to respond to the climate emergency.

TF1 is not the only one investing in this niche.

At the end of last week, France Télévisions also rushed into the breach.

“This summer, the extraordinary fires in the South-West, the heat wave, the hail and the floods have amplified the awareness of the French people about climate change

.

This encourages the media to speed up on this theme

,” notes Christelle Chiroux, Deputy Director of Information in charge of mediation and CSR at TF1.
