(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 28 - New wave of bad weather coming to Italy: a disturbance will reach our country in the next few hours, bringing rains and thunderstorms to the central regions and part of the southern ones.
Based on the available forecasts, the Civil Protection Department has issued a weather alert that foresees widespread rainfall from the early hours of tomorrow, which locally may also be very intense and accompanied by stormy weather, lightning and strong gusts of wind, on Tuscany, Marche, Umbria, Lazio, Sardinia, Campania, on the western sectors of Abruzzo and Molise and on the Tyrrhenian sectors of Basilicata and central-northern Calabria.
The Department had therefore evaluated an orange alert for hydrogeological risk in the central-western sectors of Sardinia and a yellow alert for Umbria, Lazio, Abruzzo, Molise, Tuscany, Marche, Campania, Sicily, on the other sectors of Sardinia and on some sectors of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Basilicata and Calabria.
