Hugh Jackman will once again be Wolverine to star, alongside Ryan Reynolds, in the long-awaited
Deadpool 3,
the third part of the saga.
Reynolds himself has been the one who has given the news.
The film is scheduled to be released on September 6, 2024.
The two actors used their social media accounts to make the announcement.
“Every
Deadpool
needs to stand out and differentiate himself.
It has been an incredible challenge that has forced me to reach deep inside.
Hey Hugh, do you want to play Wolverine one more time?” wrote Reynolds (Vancouver, Canada, 45 years old).
And Jackman (Sydney, Australia, 53 years old) replied: “Yes, of course, Ryan”.
The ad immediately began to go viral.

Jackman's return as Wolverine comes as a surprise to fans of the character as it was believed he would never play the mutant anymore.
