Who said that schoolchildren no longer master the French language?
The Ministry of National Education has just revealed that the level in French of pupils at the end of primary school is progressing slightly after twelve years of stability.
An information note from the Department of Evaluation, Forecasting and Performance (DEPP) points out that in 2021 "62.5% of pupils have a satisfactory command of the skills required at the end of primary schooling, whereas they were about 60% until 2015”.
