The future of work is in the metaverse.

A recent report from Regus, an organization that analyzes changes in workspaces around the world, interviewed 2,258 employees and business executives to assess their perspectives on the new technology trend.

Two thirds of the sample believe that the metaverse will become a real interaction platform for the professions, with the same slice that is convinced that they can work on the "new" internet within the next few years.

The Regus report, which focuses on UK employees and businesses, found that more than 50% of employees and business leaders believe hybrid workspaces are facilitating the transition to the metaverse, bridging a traditional way of working, done of physical places and paper, in favor of smart working and digitization.

In the document "The metaverse: the future of work?"

Regus writes that 65% of managers think the metaverse will be more revolutionary than any other technology today, especially those related to videoconferencing.

44% of employees are convinced that, thanks to the metaverse, communication with colleagues and superiors will improve, while 35% bring up the benefits for training.

PwC said it will use the space to create "a web 3.0 consulting hub to facilitate the growth of a new generation of professional services, including accounting and taxation."

Meanwhile, Atari, Samsung and Adidas have already launched their projects online, declining part of the activities already carried out locally on digital.

A few weeks ago, Ntt Data, which provides business services, has opened a new European training center on the metaverse in Italy, focused on the industrial sector.

In Milan, iDea inaugurated Made, a place for immersive teaching,
