Pokè, a typical Hawaiian dish based on marinated raw fish, continues to grow in Italy, reaching a turnover of 328 million in June 2022 (+ 117%).
In 2021, the turnover was 151 million.
This was revealed by the second edition of the report "The Pokè market in Italy" by Growth Capital, advisor in Italy for capital increases and extraordinary finance operations for startups and SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises), on the occasion of the World Pokè Day of September 28.
The trend in pokerie (points of sale) in Italy is positive: at 30 June 2022, Growth Capital recorded 820 activities, + 140% compared to 2021.
Geographically, Milan, Rome and Turin are confirmed as the Italian cities where the poké market is more developed.

From 2015, the year of arrival of food delivery in Italy, to date - informs a note - "a number of poke bowls covering an area of 33,500 square meters, equal to that of the entire Olympic Stadium in Rome" have been ordered.
In the second quarter of 2022, compared to the same period last year, poke orders increased by 73%.
