This applies in particular to all pension insured persons from the age of 50 if they have at least 35 insurance years before their regular retirement age.
The best way to do this is to pay extra into the statutory pension insurance.
Pension: In 2023, one payment point will be more expensive again
For comparison: In 2021, 7,727 euros were needed for one pension point, this year it is only 7,236 euros for insured persons to compensate for the deductions for early retirement.
One earnings point currently corresponds to monthly pension entitlements of EUR 36.02 for western Germany and EUR 35.52 for eastern Germany.
This means that last year it took almost 500 euros more to get one payment point credited to the pension account.
