,” reveals Ruben Östlund in the production notes.
The Greek tycoon Aristotle Onassis even married on this floating palace, 99 meters long, on October 20, 1968, with Jackie Kennedy, former First Lady of the United States.
Named
Christina O
in honor of his daughter, the businessman acquired the boat in 1954 for $34,000, when it was owned by the Canadian government.
He then undertook to transform it by investing more than 4 million dollars for work, led by the German architect Cäsar Pinnau.
