(ANSA) - HAVANA, 27 SEPT - After the passage of typhoon Ian, the island of Cuba was left without electricity.
The hurricane - as the state electricity company 'UnionElectrica' communicated - caused damage to the grid and a general blackout.
The technicians are working to restore the service.
Typhoon Ian, classified as category 3, particularly affected the west of Cuba, primarily the province of Pinar del Rio, without causing casualties.
