Queen Elizabeth II was particularly fond of her corgis.

A breed of dog that is now experiencing hype and is bringing in tidy profits for breeders.

Alert, active, intelligent, well-balanced and self-confident: these are the characteristics that characterize the Welsh Corgi.

Typical is his small physique with short legs.

Some also say that he is a German shepherd on top and a dachshund on the bottom.

Although rare in this country, representatives of the breed are well known as the Queen's favorite dogs and, following her death, are now more popular than ever.

The dog breed is experiencing hype and breeder prices for Corgis are skyrocketing.
