(ANSA) - MOSCOW, 29 SEPT - The deputies of the Duma, the lower chamber of the Russian Parliament, were invited to the Kremlin tomorrow for an "event" with President Vladimir Putin.
The Ria Novosti agency reports.
According to several observers, the president could announce the annexation to Russia of the Ukrainian territories in which referendums were held in recent days.
A stage was erected on Red Square with the inscription 'Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Russia, together forever'.
The event is scheduled for 3pm local time (2pm in Italy).
At the same time, several streets in central Moscow will be closed.
