(ANSA) - STRASBOURG, 29 SEPTEMBER - The Italian government will pay 30 thousand euros each to two minors to compensate them for the damage that the authorities have caused by not protecting them from the violence of their father and an aunt, which led to the death of their mother.
Bringing the case to Strasbourg was the adoptive mother of the two children, of which the Court of Human Rights (ECHR) does not reveal the generality.
The appeal argues that the state has not taken the necessary measures to defend the children and their mother from violence, nor has it protected or assisted them, especially after they had been hospitalized.
