(ANSA) - MILAN, 29 SEPTEMBER - The gas market in Amsterdam closed sharply down.

Ttf futures, benchmarks of the price of methane in the Old Continent, lost 9.42% to 187.67 euros per megawatt hour.

Traders are struggling with the consequences of damage to Nord Stream that make a winter without Russian supplies increasingly likely, on the day that Germany announced a 200 billion euro plan to lighten the energy bills of its citizens and businesses.
