(ANSA) - BEIJING, Sept. 29 - American Vice President KamalaHarris visited the demilitarized zone (DMZ) that separates the two Koreas, in Panmunjom, South Korea, in the afternoon, following the launch of two short-range ballistic missiles in Pyongyang towards the Sea of Japan.
At DMZ, Harris went to the top of a hill, near watchtowers and security cameras, looking through binoculars at the 'enemy' installations reported by a South Korean colonel in the Seoul media report.
Earlier, in meeting with President Yoon Suk Yeol, Harris had remarked on the threat to the peace represented by North Korea.
