It is currently located about 130km southeast of Orlando.
Meanwhile, the number of people without electricity has risen to

Some areas are still too dangerous to organize rescue operations.
Ian landed in Cayo Costa, near Fort Meyers.

The governors of Virginia, Georgia and South Carolina have declared
a state of emergency
in view of the passage of Hurricane Ian.
