(ANSA) - SAN PAOLO, 29 SEPTEMBER - Three days after the opening of the polls in Brazil, the clash over electronic voting between the Higher Electoral Tribunal (TSE) and the Liberal party is ignited, the formation of the right-wing president, JairBolsonaro.
The TSE, a body that deals with the counting and monitors the correct conduct of the electoral campaign, has ordered an investigation against members of the Liberal Party (Pl), for the dissemination of a report with "false" information on the safety of electronic voting devices.
Last night, in fact, Bolsonaro's party had circulated a document in which - without evidence - it is stated that the electoral result can be rigged by a group of court employees.
The president of the TSE, Alexandre de Moraes, has ordered that the report, which bears the stamp of the party, but is not signed by any of its cadres, be sent to the Supreme Federal Court (Stf) and be included in the investigation on fake news (which is speaker) also evoking possible penal responsibilities for the creators.
