Now a new trend is going viral on TikTok.

With a very simple trick that anyone can use, the cap of an oil bottle can be upgraded.

This is especially helpful for people who otherwise like to use a little more oil than they actually want.

Everyone knows it: You need a little bit of oil to fry a fried egg.

But if you move your hand a little too quickly, it's almost deep-fried.

Or you need a few drops of oil for a salad dressing and before you can see everything is swimming in it.

It is easy to use too much oil, especially if there is no integrated dosing aid in the bottle.

Luckily, this dosing aid is built into most glass oil bottles.

This is not the case with the vast majority of plastic bottles.

This is where the new oil trick comes into play, as it is intended to help you with this.

All you need is the oil bottle itself.

After opening the bottle, you usually have to pull off a tab before you can use the oil.

Exactly this tab is converted into a dosing aid.

To do this, the removed tab is turned around and pressed into the opening of the oil bottle.
