(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 30 - Thirty-two people died and over 40 were injured in a suicide attack, followed by a shooting in an educational center west of Kabul: an Afghan government source referred him to Al-Jazeera.
The explosion occurred inside the "Kaj" education center in the Dasht al-Barshi neighborhood, inhabited by Shiites, according to the Associated Press.
An Afghan security source told Al-Jazeer that the attacker shot the institute guard, then stormed the classroom and detonated his explosive belt among students.
Most of the victims of the suicide bombing that took place in a school in Kabul are girls: a student who was injured at AFP said this.
"There were about 600 in the classroom, most of the victims are girls," he said from the hospital bed where he is being treated.
The high school graduates were taking a preparation course for university entrance exams at the Kaj Education Center.
The "Kaj" educational center itself, in the Dashtal-Barshi district, inhabited by Shiites, was targeted in 2018.
