From clean energies to new materials, from medicine to space exploration, passing from genetics, robotics, neuroscience and artificial intelligence: these are the themes at the center of the 'European Researchers' Night' scheduled in Genoa at the Luzzati Gardens and Palazzo Rosso.

The Ligurian capital is confirmed as one of the 14 Italian locations of the return in the presence of the event, after the stop imposed by the covid, with 'SHARPER' (SHAring Researchers' Passion for Enhanced Roadmaps), one of the eight Italian projects supported by the European Commission, that the organizers have decided to dedicate to Piero Angela to reiterate the need for dialogue and collaboration between the worlds of communication, research and school.

In Genoa, the 2022 edition is organized by the University of Genoa, the National Institute of Nuclear Physics, the Italian Institute of Technology, the National Research Council, the Science Festival, the Italian PhD Students Association and the Municipality of Genoa.

The Luzzati gardens are transformed into a 'science village' open to all with eight demonstration stands and a special 'science corner', where researchers alternate every twenty minutes with short but incisive presentations on their research activity.

Among the various topics in the laboratories we talk about molecules, the Ligurian Sea, hydrogels, the sensors with which the air quality in the city is monitored, the neuronal mechanisms and the conditioning processes that hide behind gambling.

At Palazzo Rosso, one of the 42 palaces of the Genoese Rolli Unesco World Heritage Site, the events proposed by the Municipality of Genoa and in particular by the Educational Services of the Civic Museums are concentrated.

The projects for the restoration of the vault of the Sala della Primavera by Gregorio De Ferrari, the seven Japanese prints at the Chiossone Museum and the funeral monument of Margherita di Bramante at the Museum of Sant'Agostino are told.

The 'European Researchers' Night' takes place simultaneously in 29 European countries to bring research and researchers closer to the public, promote research projects throughout Europe and outside Europe, increase the interest of young people in scientific careers and show the impact of researchers' work on people's daily lives.

Costa Edutainment, the Hydrographic Institute of the Navy, the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, Innovative Technologies for Environmental Control and Sustainable Development (Ticass) and the Ligurian Healthcare Company participate in the Genoese edition.
