The former models of the American underwear brand pose in upcycled underwear for the magazine More or Less.

180 degree turn for fallen angels.

Gone is the lace of the catwalks, nine of the former models of the American lingerie brand Victoria's Secret adorn themselves with rubbish in a series of photos called

Heart Angels

where waste is in the spotlight.

Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Stella Maxwell, Sara Sampaio, Martha Hunt, Elsa Hosk, Lily Aldridge, Lais Ribeiro and Leomie Anderson appear wearing lingerie sets made from used toys and trash bags in the pages of

More or Less magazine

.

The upcycled underwear was attributed to a fake brand called

Kezako, an

invention of Jaime Perlman, the former artistic director of the British edition of

Vogue

, at the helm of this biannual title dedicated to alternative and sustainable fashion.

Earth angels regain their wings

By putting the former ambassadors of Victoria's Secret on stage in outfits made of waste, Jaime Perlman hits hard.

The company of Leslie Wexler (close friend of the infamous Jeffrey Epstein and businessman to whom we also owe the decried success of Abercrombie & Fitch) has been pinned on several occasions for its bad practices.

With regard to the models first.

In 2019, an open letter called on the brand to act against sexual harassment, while the denunciations of the draconian regimes of the “Angels” followed one another.

But also for his immobility on environmental issues.

In 2012, the firm notably made a commitment with the NGO Greenpeace on an objective of zero polluting products in its offer, by 2023. In 2016, an initial assessment of the NGO pointed to the total absence of efforts on the part of Victoria's Secret.

In the pages of

More or less

magazine , Candice Swanepoel, macabre wings in a garbage bag on her back, and Alessandra Ambrosio, in a bodysuit made of plastic bottles, appear as angels heralding change.
