Model Bella Hadid got her outfit at Paris Fashion Week in front of the eyes of the audience: she walked the catwalk in a freshly sprayed dress. Apparently, the technology is not suitable for mass production.

Extraordinary outfits are part of fashion shows - but some stand out again: like the dress that Bella Hadid presented at Fashion Week in Paris for the Coperni label.

The special thing about it: The 25-year-old was only sprayed on the almost naked body on a stage on the catwalk.

The white liquid turns into a kind of fabric on the skin, which was shaped with a few simple steps - the dress was given a slit, among other things.

In the resulting outfit, Hadid was apparently able to walk the catwalk like in a normal dress.

According to Vogue, the technique was developed by the company Fabrican, which was founded by Spanish fashion designer and scientist Manel Torres.

Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant from Coperni worked with Torres and his team on the spray dress for around six months.

The liquid therefore contains cotton or synthetic fibers that are in a polymer solution.

This solution evaporates on contact with the body - only the substance remains.

"It's our duty as designers to try new things and show a possible future," co-founder Sébastien Meyer told Vogue.

The company won't earn any money with it, "but it's a beautiful moment - an experience that creates emotions".
