(ANSA) - ISTANBUL, 01 OCT - "We reject Russia's decision to annex the Ukrainian regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaphorizhia".
This was announced by the foreign ministry in a press release that defined the annexation by Moscow as unacceptable.
"This decision, which constitutes a serious violation of the principles of international law, cannot be accepted", reads the note that underlines how Turkey did not recognize already in 2014 "the annexation of Crimea by Russia in an illegitimate referendum" and underlines the Ankara's support for "the territorial integrity, independence and sovereignty of Ukraine".
