Coperni made magic in Paris for Fashion Week, which lasts until October 4.

Her Spring/Summer 2023 collection should be memorable for many reasons, but one singular event put this show in the fashion history books: the moment Bella Hadid literally had a dress “sprayed” on her on the body.

Bella, the new pearl of the Hadid family

So it all started when a barely dressed Bella Hadid entered the Coperni show room, slowly advancing towards a platform on which two technicians were perched.

They aim what appear to be airbrushes at the supermodel and pull the trigger.

What happens next is what you might call “fashion magic”.

Layers upon layers of a viscous, silicone-like substance erupt from the barrels of the guns, coating Hadid in a substance that eventually forms a sublime dress of lightness.

And it was a real dress, slowly materializing in front of the enthusiastic audience.

Once the tight-fitting dress is finished, an assistant cuts the garment at the thigh to allow movement and, as if to demonstrate that it is indeed a very real outfit and not a mere conjuring, he releases the shoulder straps from Bella Hadid.

All she has to do then is exercise her talent on the “runway”.

Magic, we tell you!
