Only The Strong Survive

, on November 11, 2022. An album of 15 covers of soul and R&B classics recorded during confinement.

In a video posted on his social networks Thursday, September 29, the 73-year-old rocker, leaning against the hood of a convertible car, explains that this project challenges his voice:

"I have worked all my life with my voice in the service of my songs, confined by my arrangements, by my melodies, by my compositions... my voice always came in second, third or fourth position”

A project different from the 20 previous ones, which allowed the musician to sell more than 150 million records worldwide and to sell his catalog of songs to the Sony Music label in 2021 for the sum of 500 million dollars.
