(ANSA) - ROME, 02 OCT - The writer Rosetta Loy died in her house in Rome, which she loved so much, surrounded by her family. She was 91 years old.
She was born in Rome on May 15, 1931, she had made her debut in 1974 with 'The bicycle'.
With 'The streets of powder' you won the Viareggio Prize and the Campiello Prize in 1988.
She is a refined and intense writer, in 2017 she was awarded the Campiello Lifetime Achievement Award.
She communicates it to ANSA about her daughter, Margherita Loy.
