(ANSA) - HERAT, 02 OCT - The Taliban authorities today dispersed a demonstration with about one hundred women - mainly of the Hazara ethnic group - firing shots in the air in the western city of Herat, in Afghanistan.
The protesters said they were beaten.
"Education is our right, genocide is a crime", marked the protesters, dressed in hijabs and black scarves, the students were stopped by the heavily armed Taliban forces.
They were protesting against Friday's attack in Kabul, which killed 35 people and injured 82 others, mostly girls and young women.
