The first round of the presidential election in Brazil takes place this Sunday.

In the last hours before the election, outgoing Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro made a new "exit" which he is accustomed to.

Willingly provocative, the candidate for his own succession this time attacked the support of his main opponent and favorite in the ballot, Lula.

This is the Hollywood actor Mark Ruffalo, known in particular for interpreting Hulk, in the Marvel franchise, “Avengers”.

This last author of a tweet urging the Brazilians, in hollow, to vote for the candidate of the Brazilian left had surely not seen the blow coming.

"Brazilian friends, if you're going to vote on Sunday, Fabio Porchat (Editor's note, a Brazilian filmmaker) has promised to teach me how to dance to Anitta's 'Envolver'," the actor said in a tweet on Saturday.

Amigos brasileiros, se vocês forem votar no Domingo, o @FabioPorchat prometeu que me ensina a dançar "Envolver" da @anitta.

A humorous tweet echoing the "vote of confidence" from Anitta, the biggest Brazilian pop star, towards Lula.

The former president also garnered support from many celebrities overseas, including American actor Danny Glover and British musician Roger Waters.

Result, Jair Bolsonaro, took the actor at his word and himself performed a shirtless dance, on the hit of the Brazilian singer, in a tweet without any caption.

A snub, which is not surprising on the part of the far-right populist candidate.
