The image of Leila Khaled, who is considered the first hijacker in the world, was emblazoned on the shirt of a Palestinian comedian, a resident of the United States, when he arrived at an airport in the United States, whose location was not disclosed.
The man, Amer Zahar, 45, was born in Jordan to Palestinian parents but his family moved to the United States when he was three years old.
Zahar is a Palestinian comedian and rights activist who was previously described by the Reuters news agency as being on a "mission to heal through humor."

"Being Palestinian, even at the airport"
In his latest Instagram post, Amer wears a t-shirt with an iconic image of Khaled holding an AK-47 (Kalashnikov) and with a Palestinian flag draped behind it.
"People tell me, Amer, enough, you have to be Palestinian all the time, even at the airport," he noted in the short video.
In the video, he can be seen turning away the camera, to show off his T-shirt, when in the background a Delta Airlines plane can be seen.
As is known, Laila Khaled was a member of the terrorist organization Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).
In 1969, Khaled was considered the first hijacker in the world, when she hijacked TWA flight 840 from Rome to Tel Aviv.
The hijackers forced the flight to turn towards Damascus, and although none of the passengers or crew members were injured, after the hijackers disembarked, they blew up the nose of the plane.
According to some media reports, Khaled underwent a series of plastic surgeries in order to change her appearance so that she could take part in another kidnapping.
That time came a little over a year later, in September 1970, when Khaled and another of her accomplices tried to hijack an El Al plane from Amsterdam to New York.
The hijacking attempt was foiled by the Israeli crew on the plane.
During the countermeasure, Khaled removed the Nazareth hand grenade she had and threw it at the passengers, but the grenade did not explode.

Does the shirt violate the dress code?
Khaled was captured and remained in custody for a little over a month before being released as part of a prisoner exchange.
Today she lives in Jordan.
Despite Khaled's notorious reputation, it's hard to say whether Amer's t-shirt violated an airline's dress code policy.
Passengers are often removed from flights for wearing offensive t-shirts, it's not certain that there will be anyone who will actually announce this at the boarding gate.
