(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 03 - One of the losses from Nord Stream 2 did not stop, indeed it increased.

After Gazprom announced the end of the leaks from the damaged underwater pipeline, the Swedish Coast Guard raises the alarm.

During a flight over the spill points carried out in the last few hours, the Stockholm authorities explained, the leak from Nord Stream 1 was no longer visible and can therefore be considered exhausted.

"The pressure in line A of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline and in both lines of the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline stabilized after the ruptures - explained the company - and the gas leaks have stopped".

Meanwhile, Gazprom has evoked the possibility of returning gas to Europe in a short time through the undamaged line B of Nord Stream 2, whose entry into operation had been blocked by Germany on the eve of the invasion of Ukraine.

"If the decision to start supplies is made," the company said in a statement, "the natural gas will be pumped into the pipeline, after the system integrity check and confirmation of this possibility by the supervisory authorities."

(HANDLE).
