A woman misses her dog.

She gets a call from the animal hospital.

She found one.

Whether it's the right one becomes apparent quickly.

There is probably nothing worse for pet owners when their beloved four-legged friend suddenly disappears without a trace.

Many then try to find him again by reporting him as missing.

Others, on the other hand, rattle off veterinary clinics and animal shelters in the hope that the dog, cat and Co. have been found and handed in there.

See you again after 21 days: dog completely freaks out

There are many reasons why animals can suddenly no longer be found.

They escape and can't find their way home.

Or it rains and storms violently and they lose their bearings.

When the pet owners are finally able to hug them again after a long search, there is great joy on both sides.

A cute video on TikTok now shows how happy dogs in particular can be when they see each other again.

A user named Remy posted a clip there that, according to the comments, is very close to many in the community.

The video shows a woman going to a veterinary clinic.

There she is brought together with an Australian Shepherd.

As the user writes, the dog owner has been looking for her fur nose for 21 days.

Finally, she gets a call from a veterinary clinic.

See you again after 21 days: the dog can no longer get along

She has found a four-legged friend and wants to know if it is hers.

But it quickly becomes clear: the two know each other very well!

Because as soon as the cute dog sees the woman, he starts howling and squeaking loudly and jumps into her arms with a running start.

There, the Aussie can no longer control himself, fidgets and rubs against the woman's head from all sides.

She is so overwhelmed by the cuddle attacks that she even kneels on the floor.

In between, he also jumps into the arms of the woman from the veterinary clinic, only to then return to his owner.

It almost looks as if he wants to express his gratitude.

The TikTok community is touched by the sight, the video has been clicked over 1.3 million times, has already received over 150,000 likes and has been commented on over 650 times.

Here is a selection of the best and funniest comments:
