Intesa San Paolo inaugurates in Bari, on Tuesday 4 October, a crèche for the young patients of the Giovanni XXIII pediatric hospital in Bari. The opening of the new crèche is part of the Intesa Sanpaolo educational program for long-term care children, a project conceived and developed by the of Social and Relations with Universities, thanks to which, since 2017, Intesa Sanpaolo has offered a free nursery service to children aged 0 to 3 in long-term care in the oncology departments of excellent hospitals.
Participating in the cutting of the ribbon are Rosa Barone, regional councilor for Welfare, Social welfare policies and equal opportunities, Social planning and socio-health integration, Gianluca Capochiani, administrative director of the Bari Polyclinic, Elisa Zambiente Marsala, responsible for Social Enhancement and Relations with University of Intesa Sanpaolo, and Alberto Pedroli, regional director of Basilicata, Puglia and Molise of Intesa Sanpaolo.
