Truss, now focus on growth for better services and wages

(ANSA) - LONDON, OCTOBER 03 - "Our focus now is on building a high-growth economy that finances top-level public services, raises wages and creates opportunities across the country".

This was stated by British Prime Minister Liz Trussin in a message posted on Twitter after the sensational backward march on the tax cut in favor of the richest.

In the first part of the tweet, the Prime Minister essentially echoes the words used by the Treasury Minister: "We understand, we listened. The abolition of the 45% tax rate distracted us from our mission to get Great Britain moving again."
