Vodafone deals with Ck Hutchinson to merge British businesses

(ANSA) - MILAN, OCTOBER 03 - Vodafone confirms that it is entertaining with CK Hutchison in relation to a possible combination of Vodafone UK and Three UK.

If the merger succeeds, Vodafone would own 51% of the post-merger company and CKHutchison 49% of the British business.

"By combining their businesses, Vodafone UK and Three UK will gain the necessary size to be able to fully accelerate the deployment of 5G in Great Britain and expand broadband connectivity in rural communities and small businesses."
