Andy Fletcher, the third man at Depeche Mode, died unexpectedly in May this year.
The keyboard player died at the age of 60 from a ruptured main artery.
Now Martin Gore and David Gahan, the two remaining members of the British band, reported on their plans for the future at a press conference in Berlin.
A new album is scheduled for release at the end of March 2023.
It will be entitled »Memento Mori«.
The title was chosen with Fletcher during his lifetime.
The songs were also written before his death.
To promote the album, Depeche Mode will embark on a major world tour next year.
First they will play indoor concerts in North America, then in the summer it will be the turn of the stadiums of Europe.
Next year's tour schedule for Germany:
May 26: Leipzig, Festwiese
June 4th/6th: Düsseldorf, Merkur-Spiel-Arena
June 20: Munich, Olympic Stadium
June 29: Frankfurt, Deutsche Bank Park
July 7: Berlin, Olympic Stadium
