Porsche, Google or BioNTech - companies that are popular with young workers.
This is the result of a ranking by Stepstone.
In the future, young employees will shape the labor market more and more.
This is accompanied by a change in work, since younger people have different values than older people.
For example, there are no longer the classic prestige objects such as houses or cars.
Rather, work-life balance, remote work and sustainability are important - this emerges from the Universum Young Professional Survey 2022.
Among other things, it compiles the most attractive employers for young professionals.

This is what young employees expect from their employer
Above all, young professionals expect an “attractive basic salary” from their employer.
However, “flexible working conditions” and “work-life balance” come in second.
So if companies want to keep younger employees, then these are parameters that the company can work on.

The following is important for young professionals:
Attractive base salary
Flexible working hours
Promotion of work-life balance
Promotion of further education
Diverse work tasks
High income in the future
Secure employment
A friendly work environment
Leaders who encourage development
Professional training and development
Those responsible also determined the differences in the statements made by men and women.
It is striking that in this survey women did not attach importance to a high income in the future.
For men, this again landed in second place.
When it comes to first place, however, men and women agree: the attractive basic salary is particularly important.
