(ANSA) - MILAN, 03 OCT - Twitter will soon add new features to its platform to make it easier to discover videos from your smartphone.

In particular, the company will launch a revamped menu to group the best online videos, to be viewed in a similar way to Tik Tok.

The social Chinese, who is gaining more and more space among young people, has made available in recent days the 'I do not like' button for comments to the posts of the members.

To try to contain the competitor's rise, Twitter is also speeding up the times for releasing the tweet 'edit' button.

After the experiments of the past weeks, at the end of September the Blue Twitter account, referring to the paid service of the social network, published a modified post,

confirming both the progress of the function and the way the tweet itself will appear to others, even after editing.

In particular, any modified post will have the wording "last modified" at the bottom with the date and time of the same.

On click, you will be able to read the changes made as if the tweets were unique, complete with separate comments and sharing.

Meanwhile, in the coming days, iOS users will have the opportunity to access the video collection menu and enjoy the contents in a Tik Tok style, i.e. vertical.

Once you have finished watching a movie, simply swipe up to see the next one or in the left corner to return to the main menu.

A new video carousel will also appear within the Explore tab,

where will debut the "Videos for you" category, with popular and trending videos designed for each member.
