(ANSA) - NAPLES, OCTOBER 05 - Inflation alarm at 9%.
It was launched by the president of Confcommercio, Carlo Sangalli, today in Naples for the regional assembly of the organization.
According to the 'Notes on the economy of the South' of the studies office of Confcommercio, 2022 could close with an average inflation of 7.5%.
While in October consumer prices would rise again, marking an increase of 9% on an annual basis (from 8.9% in September).
It is always the expensive energy that weighs: half of the inflation, in fact, is caused by energy in a direct way (between 60% and 80% also indirectly, including food and non-food raw materials).
