It only takes a few minutes to create something delicious and healthy to snack on.

Air fryers have been very popular for a number of years.

After all, it can be used to prepare healthy, low-fat crunchy foods, for example fatty foods such as fries and the like. It also gives other foods such as vegetables or seeds a certain roasted aroma.

Roasting pumpkin seeds: How to do it - with variation

Depending on your taste and preferences, you can prepare the pumpkin seeds in the air fryer with various spices: either classic with salt and pepper, spicy or sweet with sugar and cinnamon.

The basic recipe is always the same:

  • Half a cup of pumpkin seeds

  • A tablespoon of vegetable oil

  • A pinch of salt

  • A pinch of spices (optional: paprika, cinnamon, etc.)

  • A pinch of pepper

If you want it even spicier or hotter, you can also add 2 tablespoons of chili sauce.

If you have a sweet tooth, leave out the salt and pepper and add a tablespoon of butter in addition to the sugar and cinnamon.

Mix everything in a bowl.

Preheat the hot air fryer to 180 degrees Celsius for about five minutes.

Now put the mixture in the Airfryer for about ten minutes.

Increase the temperature to 200 degrees Celsius and roast the kernels for another eight minutes.

Then let the seeds cool down a bit before you eat them.
